Following on from the enormous successes of The Arcadians and A Country Girl, GSOV is excited to be presenting this wonderful musical comedy in 2013. First performed at Daly’s Theatre, London, 1896, it ran even longer than The Mikado. It gained an international following which even Gilbert and Sullivan envied. Now, it is almost forgotten. Grab this unique chance to see and hear this milestone work of early Musical Comedy.

Cast requirements for the Geisha

AUDITIONS

THE GEISHA

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE IN THIS SHOW?

HERE ARE THE CURRENT CAST REQUIREMENTS FOR THE GEISHA The director is looking for at least six males to fill out the chorus plus another couple of girls.

The actual number of the chorus is quite small, so they must have a good voice and be able to hold a vocal line in a SATB accurately, as well as have a good stage presence. There will be choreography, so they must be able to move well on stage. If you would like to be in the show, please contact Ron Pidcock at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for a copy of the libretto and full vocal score.
